On is singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ken Andrews' one-man ring. Formerly of the alt-rock mathematical group Failure, Andrews began on the job on his own material by and by the band's dying in the belated '90s. In 1999, Andrews released On's debut EP, Soluble Words, which paved the way for 2000's full-length debut Shifting Skin.
